Ballroom & Dance: Stephanie McWilliams

Stephanie McWilliams is a mom of four children as well as a professor & clinical/sport psychologist (her day job). She grew up in the dance studio as her family owned and operated a studio in Scranton, PA for nearly 50 years. Jobs brought her family to WV a dozen or so years ago, so Morgantown is officially home. Stephanie earned her Bachelor’s degree in Dance along with her Psychology degree at Bucknell University, where she was a member of the Bucknell Dance Company. Stephanie completed her master’s degree at Columbia University in NYC, and her Ph.D. at WVU.

Stephanie's mantra when it comes to dance and the arts….it is for EVERYONE. A safe, welcoming environment to explore movement and creativity offers something to the growth process that is second to none. She is so pleased to be a part of the NEVA team helping to grow the arts in the Morgantown community and beyond.
